MSN Specializations at Cleveland State University

The College of Nursing offers four tracks for prospective students: specialized populations, nursing education, forensic nursing, and clinical nurse leader (CNL). Each track prepares students for advanced specialized practice. All courses are taught online with the exception of the MBA portion of the MSN/MBA track. Additional program information includes:

A member of the Council of Baccalaureate and Higher Degree Programs and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing
Interdisciplinary graduate certificates offered in gerontological studies, nursing education, and school nurse licensure preparation
MSN students must complete a total of 400 clinical hours
Prepares graduates for board certification examination
Courses are offered in a sequence to allow students to complete the MSN degree in approximately 2 ½ years
